Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By registering or using AudioUnites, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Service description

AudioUnites provides hosted internet radio streaming (live and AutoDJ) on a subscription basis. You own your stream URL and may export and leave at any time (no lock-in).

3. Acceptable Use & Licensing

You agree not to broadcast unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

• You are solely responsible for securing all rights (including music performance and mechanical licenses from PPL, IPRS, Novex, or the relevant Copyright Society where applicable) for any content you broadcast, and you warrant that your broadcast is lawful.
• You grant AudioUnites a non-exclusive license to host, transmit, and stream your content solely to operate the service on your behalf.
• AudioUnites is a hosting intermediary and assumes no liability for the licensing status of user content; we may suspend a station under Section 9 where required.
• AI features do not grant any music rights. The AI assistant will not autonomously broadcast copyrighted music. You remain responsible for all music licensing.

4. Plans, billing & digital delivery

• Plans are billed in advance (Monthly or Annual with 10% discount) in INR (or USD/EUR where offered).
• The Pulse plan includes a free one-month trial.
• Listener caps and bitrate limits per plan are both pricing tiers and technical cost-control measures.
• Digital Fulfillment: All services are delivered electronically immediately upon registration and payment confirmation. No physical goods are shipped.

5. Renewal & failure (soft-grace)

• If a renewal payment fails, your station remains live through a grace window (7 days) while we send email reminders.
• If payment is not completed by the end of the grace period, the station is suspended (stream disabled, data retained).
• Following cancellation or non-renewal, data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing support@freenomad.net. Voluntary cancellation during an active billing cycle takes effect at the end of the paid period and does not trigger an automatic mid-cycle refund (see Refund Policy).

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for interruptions, data loss, or indirect damages beyond the amount you paid in the prior billing month. AI-generated output should be reviewed before broadcast; you are responsible for reviewing content before approving it for broadcast.

8. AI features & authoring paths

You may use AI features in one of three paths, per show:

• Path A — Owner authors: you write, speak, or upload all content; AI is not used for authoring.
• Path B — Owner writes, AI voices: you supply the script; we render it to speech using selected voices.
• Path C — Fully assisted: you supply a topic; the assistant researches, drafts, voices, and proposes a schedule. You review, edit, and approve before it airs.

In all paths, you (or your approved editor) must approve content before anything is scheduled to air. Voice cloning is not available.

9. Intermediary Status & Content Takedown

AudioUnites is an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, hosting user-generated broadcasts. We are not the publisher of station content.

• Lawful authority takedown: On receipt of a court order or direction from a competent authority (MeitY, law enforcement, etc.), we will suspend the affected station's broadcast and disable access in accordance with applicable law (ordinarily within 72 hours).
• Private / rights-holder notices: We follow our Grievance Redressal process — notify the operator, allow reasonable opportunity to remedy, and suspend only where infringements are sustained or unresolved.
• We maintain a Resident Grievance Officer and nodal contact for agency coordination under the IT Rules, 2021.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.

11. Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or notification on the site.
