1. Who we are

2. What we collect

Account data: email address, chosen plan, station name.
Billing data: payment records from our payment processors (Razorpay / Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; these are handled by the processor.
Station data: audio you stream or upload to your station, listener statistics, and configuration (bitrate, mounts, schedule).
Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic usage logs for security and debugging.
AI feature data: when you use AI features, we additionally process the text/scripts you submit or the agent drafts, the audio generated from them, and your chosen language and voice preferences per station. Voice-cloning biometric data is not processed.

3. How we use it

To provision and operate your radio station on our AzuraCast infrastructure.
To process subscriptions and renewals.
To send service emails (credentials, renewal reminders, grace warnings).
To operate AI features you enable (script generation, text-to-speech, scheduling).
To maintain and secure the service.

4. Data retention & deletion

Station audio and account data are kept while your subscription is Active.
On cancellation or expiry, data is retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted.
AI-generated scripts/audio are retained per the same schedule and deleted on cancellation or user request.
You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing support@freenomad.net.

5. AI-generated content & your controls

AI features use third-party vendors (Google, Sarvam) for text-to-speech and script drafting.
AI-generated audio is labelled as such and carries source attribution when aired.
You (the station owner) review and approve every AI-drafted item before it airs. AudioUnites does not auto-publish AI content without your approval.
You may not use AI to clone, imitate, or impersonate any person without consent. Voice cloning is not available.
AI actions run on prepaid credits; generation stops when credits reach zero.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 and applicable law, you may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and may raise queries or complaints with our Grievance Redressal Officer (see Section 7).

8. Third parties

We use Razorpay and/or Stripe for payments, Google and Sarvam for AI text-to-speech, and our streaming infrastructure (AzuraCast, Icecast, Liquidsoap). These process data under their respective privacy policies.
